Assault Rifles is a Combat skill in Escape from Tarkov.

Description

Assault rifles handling skill improves the overall handling, reduces recoil and reload time of Assault rifles.

Effects

• Increases reload speed (0.4% per level → +20% at Elite Level)
• Increases weapon switching speed (0.8% per level → +40% at Elite Level)
• Reduces weapon recoil (0.3% per level → -15% at Elite Level)
• Improves weapon ergonomics (0.2% per level → +10% at Elite Level)
• Elite level: Steady aim for the first 3 seconds with any stamina condition
• Elite level: Doubles mastering gain

How to raise

• Landing hits on enemies with Assault rifles and Assault carbines
• Reloading Assault rifles and Assault carbines
• Completing the quest Intimidator
• Completing the quest The Cleaner

Tips

• For weapons which can be top reloaded, each round reloaded counts as a separate reload. It is possible to quickly gain points by repeatedly reloading an SKS so long as the raid was started without a round in the chamber.
  • This will eject a round to the ground each time, so use cheap ammo or pick it up from the ground.
