Ground Zero is a location in Escape from Tarkov. It is the tenth map that was added to the game.
Description[]
The business center of Tarkov. This is where TerraGroup was headquartered. This is where it all began. The area has yet again become a hot zone since the early days of the conflict.
Notes[]
Matchmaking on this location is divided into beginners (Level <21) and experienced players (Level 21+). For groups, matchmaking is based on the highest level player in the group.
In experienced matchmaking there are the following differences:
- Chance to find rare loot
- Increased Scavs difficulty
- Scav boss Kollontay and Cultists can appear
- Airdrops can appear and be called

- Stationary weapons in the form of AGS-30 30x29mm automatic grenade launchers and NSV Utyos 12.7x108 heavy machine guns.
- Be aware of Minefields, Claymores and Border Snipers!
