Lighthouse is a location in Escape from Tarkov. It is the eighth map that was added to the game.

Description[]

The lighthouse at Cape Dalniy was an important strategic object on the way to Tarkov. During Contract Wars, it was the main entry point for USEC units and served as their base of operations. After the conflict, Scavs took a fancy to this place, until the old owners returned, who decided to stay in Tarkov and establish their own order.

Features[]

Stationary weapons in the form of AGS-30 30x29mm automatic grenade launchers and NSV "Utyos" 12.7x108 heavy machine guns.

Water treatment plant Rogue base[]

Lighthouse is currently the only map to feature the Rogues faction. They are guarding a water treatment plant that they have converted into a base of operations since leaving the private military company USEC. At the water treatment plant, Rogues are stationed on heavy machine gun and grenade launcher emplacements, with patrols around the area. Rogues will perform suppressive fire on enemies that come too close. Players of the USEC faction however, will not be opened fire upon immediately, unless they are in a group with a BEAR. Instead, the Rogues will tell the player to leave the area, only shooting at them if they do not leave. If a USEC player fights the Rogues, they will be treated as hostile by them for the next 3 raids.

Lighthouse[]

The lighthouse at the peninsula territory is the home of Lightkeeper. The bridge that leads to the lighthouse is guarded by Zryachiy and full of Claymores. To safely pass the bridge, an encoded Digital secure DSP radio transmitter is required. It deactivates the claymores and has Zryachiy not shoot you. The questline to obtain one starts with Network Provider - Part 1. Harming Zryachiy, one of his followers, or a Lightkeeper acquainted PMC in the lighthouse premises will decode your Digital secure DSP radio transmitter if you have it equipped. PMC's that are acquainted with Lightkeeper can kill unacquainted intruders without penalty.

    • Lighthouse is referred to as "Cape Dalniy" in multiple quest dialogues. "Dalny" is also the nickname of the Kvantunskaya Oblast, a Russian territory in modern day China's Liaodong Peninsula.
    • The lighthouse is based on the Aniva lighthouse which is located at the southern coast of Sakhalin, Russia.
