Search mission is a Quest in Escape from Tarkov.

Dialogue[]

Greetings, warrior. I have a job for you. Long story short, I lost contact with one of my groups, and it's been quite a while ago. When shit hit the fan, I sent them to Woods to pick up some cargo. I'm afraid they got ambushed, the last time I got through, they reported that the USECs were closing in on them from the hills. Investigate it, check if anyone survived. Their convoy had a BRDM, a Bukhanka van, and a truck of some sort, I do not remember what kind exactly. I think that the USECs must have settled somewhere near there too, so stay sharp. Find my convoy and those USECs' camp, if it is really there. Dismissed.

Requirements[]

  • Must be level 5 to start this quest.

Objectives[]

  • Find Prapor's missing convoy on Woods
  • Locate the temporary USEC camp
  • Survive and extract from the location

Rewards[]

So my guys didn't make it and the transports were looted... Plus a USEC camp nearby, you say? That sucks, the cargo was very important. Well, you've done your part of the deal, so here's the reward. You can buzz off now.

Guide[]

Quest steps do not need to be completed in succession - It is possible to discover each location in separate raids, however after discovering the 2nd objective extraction is necessary, otherwise progress is reset to only the 1st objective being completed.
The two objective locations are next to each other in the Northwest corner of the map - The convoy is on the road just South of the radio tower, and the USEC camp is directly West of the convoy in the middle of a rocky area away from any roads.
Be careful upon approaching the USEC encampment as land mines cover the western and north-western approaches to the location. The mines themselves are not visible and respawn after each detonation, so it is not possible to clear a path through them. The location of the mine fields are indicated only by sign posts along the exterior of the map, and not the approach along the north-west.
