You came at the right time. I just finished a patrol, and I'll tell you this — something strange is starting. Too many people have been moving through the forests lately, and they're better equipped than usual. I haven't burned through this many rounds on a single run in a long time. Don't even think about leaving your hideout without a solid stock of ammo. I can feel they're preparing for something. I can't sleep at night. Last time it felt like this was right before that blue blast in the city center. Feels like something's about to happen — something that'll change Tarkov forever. Uneasy times are upon us. An extra pair of hands won't go amiss. Help me thin out this infestation in our city, and I won't forget the favor.
